Bill Simmons’ ‘Snowtime’ nickname is perfect for Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the busiest teams this offseason, as the front office has made numerous acquisitions since LeBron James announced he would not be returning. However, with the dust settling in L.A., it’s hard not to notice how many players on the roster are white individuals. So much so that famed NBA analyst Bill Simmons is giving the franchise a “Snowtime” nickname.

Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler are the big three for this team. Dalton Knecht, Jake LaRavia, and Sandro Mamukelashvili are expected to play serious minutes for Los Angeles next season, while Maxi Kleber and Drew Timme round out the bottom portion of the roster.
