Bobby Portis Has A Cold Response After Breaking Isaiah Jackson's Nose
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Bucks and Pacers had one of the most entertaining games of the year as Giannis Antetokounmpo's history-making 64-point night was overshadowed by a series of hard fouls and hurt feelings over which team got to keep the game ball . One of the actual injuries of the game came when Bobby Portis inadvertently broke Isaiah Jackson's nose during the game and didn't seem to care about it.

"I went into my move, drop-step, go up, jump hook off the glass... If I break someone's nose off a jump-hook, so be it... Didn't throw it, and didn't extend, if that was the case I would've gotten an offensive foul. It ain't got nothing to do with me."

Portis was one of the key enforcers of the Bucks that was willing to fight anyone and everyone that got in his team's way. An iconic video of him from the game is already viral, with him staring down the Pacers and needing to be held back.

If Portis is left unchecked, he can cause some serious physical damage to another opponent. Naturally, none of what he did in the Pacers' game against Jackson was intentional, but it goes to show how much strength the backup center possesses. Every team needs enforcers like him and the Bucks surely appreciate him for the same.

Bobby Portis Sent A Teammate To The Hospital Once

Bobby Portis is regarded as an NBA Champion and one of the key pieces of the Bucks, but many thought he'd be out of the league after his stint on the Chicago Bulls due to an incident where he knocked out teammate Nikola Mirotic, sending Mirotic to the hospital and ruining his reputation. He's discussed the incident and how it affected his career.

"It was one of the situations where I and he got into a back and forth on the court. I score, he scores, I score, he scores. And he was like, 'me me me.' I didn't like that and he ran up on me, pushed me, this and that. It was one of those things that was a life-learning lesson for me. Made me better as a person, and better as a basketball player as well. When I came back from the suspension, I really had to like show people what my worth was. It was a blessing in disguise for real. During the time, it definitely tarnished my name, tarnished my reputation, tarnished my image."

Portis bounced around the NBA for a few years before finding a home in Milwaukee, taking a discount to sign with a contender and rehabilitate his reputation. it worked out well as the Bucks won a title at the first time of asking with Portis on the roster. He was handed a four-year extension last season, a deal that the Bucks and the player have been happy with.
