The Boston Celtics are a team on a mission. Nothing the Dallas Mavericks are doing seems to be slowing down the Celtics train. In Game 3, Boston took down Luka Doncic and company to the tune of a 106-99 score. With that win, Boston is now on the verge of not just winning the 2024 NBA Finals but also doing it via a sweep.
Make no mistake about it. The Mavs remain a big threat and they are very much capable of stealing a game or two before it is all over, and in Game 3, they nearly did. But Jaylen Green was not going to let Dallas pull off a stunner, and he urged his team to get the job done.

Brian Windhorst mentions on SportsCenter how Jorge @Sedano said during ESPN radio’s broadcast he heard Jaylen Brown in the Celtics’ huddle imploring his team: “Now is when we graduate.”
Tonight, we finally saw the Boston Celtics get over the hump and graduate.
Brown surely walked the talk, as he generated 30 points on 12/22 shooting from the floor and recording eight boards, eight assists, and a block. So far in the finals, he is leading the Celtics with 73 points to go with 18 rebounds and 17 assists. His +22 through three games is also the highest on the team.
This series is now for the Celtics to lose. They have complete control and momentum. Even if they stumble in Game 4, Brown and company still have the home-court advantage in the series, with Games 5 and 7 (if necessary) reserved at TD Garden. Of course, the Celtics don’t want to give Dallas any inch, so expect them to go all out in Game 4 on Friday.
