Boston Celtics Make Roster Move After Lakers Game

On Thursday evening, the Boston Celtics hosted the Los Angeles Lakers in Massachusetts.  Despite the Lakers playing without their two best players (LeBron James and Anthony Davis), the Celtics lost by a score of 114-105.  Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell combined for 48 points and 17 assists, and the Lakers shot 52.8% from the three-point range.  Dalano Banton played two minutes and had two points, one rebound and one assist.  After the game (on Friday), the Celtics announced that he had been assigned to the Maine Celtics (G League).    Via The Celtics: "We have assigned Dalano Banton to the @MaineCeltics" Banton was the 46th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Nebraska and spent his first two seasons in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors.  He has played in 23 games (one start) for Boston this year and is averaging 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.4% from the field.  The Maine Celtics announced that he will play in Friday's game against the Grand Rapids Gold.    Since the (Boston) Celt
