Boston Celtics Officially Sign Recent Cleveland Cavaliers Player

Lamar Stevens had an outstanding college basketball career playing for the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Despite averaging 17.6 points per contest during his junior season, Stevens went undrafted in 2020.

He has spent the previous three seasons playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and has been a very solid role player. 

This past season, Stevens averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest and helped the Cavs make the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Over the offseason, he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs, who then waived him. 

According to RealGM, the Stevens has officially signed with the Boston Celtics (h/t Hoops Rumors).
