According to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line, Bradley Beal is actively exploring his options with other teams in anticipation of a Phoenix Suns buyout.

Beal has two years left on his contract, totaling $110 million. The guard has a no-trade clause in his contract.

The Suns acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards in 2023. Beal has appeared in 106 games with Phoenix. He’s averaging 17.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Beal is 32. He has career averages of 21.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 801 games with the Wizards and Suns.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat will pursue Beal once he becomes a free agent, sources told Hoops Wire.

The Beal era in Phoenix has been a nightmare. The Suns were swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2024 playoffs and missed the postseason this year.

Phoenix fired Mike Budenholzer as head coach after just one season. The franchise replaced Budenholzer with Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott.

Frank Vogel only lasted one season in the desert, too. He was hired in 2023 and fired in 2024.

NBA legend Kevin Durant was traded by the Suns to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and five second-round picks. Devin Booker remains the franchise player in Phoenix. He’s expected to sign a two-year, $150 million extension soon.
