USA Basketball keeps hearing big news after another NBA star has committed to represent the U.S. in the upcoming 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. The Washington Wizards shooting guard comes from a season where he fought for the scoring championship until the last day of competition.

He took his Wizards to the NBA playoffs alongside Russell Westbrook, winning one game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round. Beal signed his name on the list after players like Damian Lillard, Draymond Green, and Jayson Tatum committed to the national team.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the player is ready to suit up in the Asian country to win the gold medal.

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has committed to Team USA for the Tokyo Olympics. Beal joins Portland’s Damian Lillard, Boston’s Jayson Tatum and Golden State’s Draymond Green among initial pledges.

This is great news for the team. Even with these four players committing to the team, you have hope that the squad will go deep in the Olympic tournament.

Beal recorded 31.3 points, 4,7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists this year with the Wizards. He shot 48.5% from the field and 88.9% from the free-throw line.
