The Wisconsin Herd have made a significant roster move and signed former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo. The shooting guard has been working on his return to the NBA since he last played in 2023 and is now joining the Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks‘ G-League affiliate.
NBA fans wondering what happened to Victor Oladipo now have a big update on the former star’s return to the Association. Just days after signing with the G-League player pool, Oladipo is joining the Wisconsin Herd, the G-League affiliate to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The former All-NBA selection last played in the league in 2023, with the Miami Heat, during which he averaged 10.7 points per game in 42 appearances. His peak years came with the Indiana Pacers in the late 2010s. Oladipo has two All-Star selections to his career, both coming with the Pacers in 2018 and 2019.
Now 33 years old, Oladipo has battled back from several significant injuries that have dramatically altered his career. After multiple serious knee injuries, most recently a torn patella during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Oladipo was traded multiple times and later released. He would later sign with the Guangzhou Loong-Lions in China.
Bucks fans will be hoping that Oladipo can return to become a solid player and eventually join the Bucks roster, adding to a strong guard group currently helmed by the emerging Ryan Rollins, free agent signing Cole Anthony, and the recently extended AJ Green.
