Bronny James dropped 26 points on Saturday as he helped lead the South Bay Lakers to a 140-132 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA G-league season finale.
South Bay lead the way for most of the matchup, with James and Drew Timme leading the way offensively.
Despite serious comeback attempts by the Skyforce, South Bay’s offense kept them in front until the end.
Ultimately, Timme finished with 36 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. James had a memorable night with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists while shooting 9-of-12 from the floor.
He also knocked down a career-high six three-pointers.
The victory was a major one for the Lakers, who now hold the top seed in the G-League’s Western Conference.
