The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Boston Celtics on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena, looking to secure their fourth win in five games.
Late in the first quarter, LeBron James found himself one-on-one with Celtics center Luke Kornet near the three-point line. With the shot clock running out, LeBron James had to make something happen. He made his move, blowing past the big man with ease.
Kornet didn’t get much help defensively as LeBron James charged toward the rim at full speed ahead. The 40-year-old rose up and threw down a massive right-handed slam dunk that got the crowd going, giving the Lakers an 11-point lead to close the quarter.
LeBron James' son, Bronny James, had the perfect reaction as he watched on from the Lakers' bench. The Lakers’ 2024 second-round pick stood up, flexed his arms, and gave a straight-faced stare.
A fan sitting in the stands videotaped it all.
