Bronny James was back on the court for the Los Angeles Lakers tonight against the Utah Jazz, and he made the most of his minutes as he tallied a career-high in points.
Despite only playing eight minutes in the Lakers' 119-131 loss to the Jazz, James went 3-4 from the field and 2-3 from beyond the arc while also going 1-2 from the line for nine points which serves as a new career high point total for the rookie. He also dished out an assist.
The former USC product seems to finally be finding his footing at the NBA level after recording some impressive outings in the G-League. While he is still only seeing the majority of his minutes during garbage time, Bronny seems to be making the most of his opportunities.
His next opportunity to try and beat hit newly set career high will be at home against the Charlotte Hornets once the All-Star break concludes on February 19th.
Depending on how that game plays out, James could very well see double-digit minutes, especially if head coach JJ Reddick rewards the shooting guard's standout fourth-quarter stint in their losing effort.
