The Brooklyn Nets have named Steve Nash as their head coach. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Nash has signed a four-year deal in what will be his very first coaching stint.
Hall of Fame guard Steve Nash has signed a four-year contract to become the next coach of the Brooklyn Nets, sources tell ESPN.

Nash joins the Nets following five seasons as a player development consultant with the Golden State Warriors, where he contributed to two championship teams and made four consecutive trips to The Finals.
In recent weeks, Nets owner Joe Tsai and general manager Sean Marks have been aggressive in recruiting Nash to make the leap that he had so far resisted in his retirement: head coaching.

Steve’s marriage to Lilla is his second. He was previously married for six years to Alejandra Amarilla.
