The Bucks and guard Kam Jones have agreed to a two-way deal, Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto tweets.
Jones, the 38th pick of the 2025 draft, became a free agent when the Bulls decided to waive him earlier this week. Jones was acquired by the Bulls in the draft-night trade that sent this year’s 38th pick, which was used to select Braden Smith, to the Pacers.
The 24-year-old guard played 37 games for the banged-up Pacers last season, averaging 3.2 assists to 1.0 turnover in 16.6 minutes per game, but he struggled with his outside shot and overall efficiency. His rookie season was delayed by a back injury, as he didn’t make his season debut until mid-December.
The Bulls are still the hook for a partial guarantee worth $1,075,459 for Jones since he wasn’t claimed.
Joining Milwaukee is a homecoming of sorts for Jones, who played four seasons for Marquette.
