Bobby Portis is running it back with the Bucks.
The veteran forward intends to re-sign with Milwaukee on a three-year, $44 million contract that includes a player option for the 2027-28 season, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. The deal was finalized between the Bucks and agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports.
A fan favorite and key piece off the bench, Portis has been a reliable sparkplug in Milwaukee’s rotation. The new contract rewards his impact while keeping one of the league’s top sixth men in place for another run.
