Long before he came into the NBA and became a Milwaukee Bucks legend, Michal Redd was a college basketball sensation for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
It is also why it’s not surprising to see him checking on the Buckeyes from time to time, just like in last Saturday’s game between Ohio State and the UCLA Bruins at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The Buckeyes surely did not disappoint Redd, as they defeated Mick Cronin’s Bruins to the tune of an 86-74 score.
But one thing that Redd did not like was the broadcast, particularly a close up of his head.
“Broadcast did me dirty, haha,” Redd wrote in a social media post on X (formerly Twitter) along with a screenshot of how he looked on TV.

It’s all good, though, for Redd. He didn’t seem to be upset by it.
During his time with the Buckeyes, Redd averaged 19.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 96 games. He shot 44.8 percent from the field and just 31.9 percent from behind the arc, but he turned out to be one of the best outside snipers in the NBA.
Selected by the Bucks in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft, Redd, who is now 46 years old, played 11 of his 12 seasons in the NBA with Milwaukee. He finished his NBA journey with the Phoenix Suns in the 2011-12 campaign, and when it was all said and done for him in the pros, he had career averages of 19.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 38.0 percent from the 3-point region.
