The Milwaukee Bucks are down 3-1 in their series against the Indiana Pacers, and things are not looking good as they're on the brink of elimination. Through four games, the Bucks have not looked like the team that many people expected them to be a little more competitive in the first round.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown up in every game, but the players around him have not been consistent. Kyle Kuzma and Taurean Prince have not been efficient from the 3-point line, and the Bucks' defense has not lived up to expectations. To add on to things not going well for the Bucks, Damian Lillard suffered an injury in Game 4, and it looks like he won't be back for the series.
The Bucks made a recent announcement regarding Lillard's injury.
"Damian Lillard underwent an MRI today that revealed a torn left Achilles tendon. Lillard will miss the remainder of the 2025 playoffs and undergo surgery to repair the injury," the Bucks wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Not only will Lillard be out for the rest of the playoffs, but there's a good chance that he'll be out for most of the regular season next year as well. The injury was a big blow for the Bucks, but it is also uncertain what their future will look like if they get bounced early.
