The Milwaukee Bucks are into the offseason, and there will be many questions that need answers. After losing to the Indiana Pacers, the Bucks have now been eliminated from the first round of the playoffs for three straight seasons. In all of those seasons, injuries have come from either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Damian Lillard.
This season, Lillard was sidelined for some time after dealing with blood clots in his right calf. Lillard returned in Game 2 against the Pacers, but he only played in three games after going down with an Achilles injury. Now, Lillard will have to go through rehab, and it's not certain when he will return next season, if he returns at all.
The Bucks are keeping the fans updated with Lillard's recovery, and they recently shared a message about the point guard on X, formerly Twitter. The picture shows Lillard with the word "Unbreakable" above his head. At the bottom, the word "Optimistic" shows up, and it's obvious that how Lillard is feeling at the moment.

Lillard has always seemed like the person who can battle any kind of adversity, and this injury will make him better through the recovery process. There will be a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Bucks this offseason, and with Antetokounmpo possibly exploring other options, Lillard's future with the team could also be up in the air. As of now, the only thing to do is wait to see what direction the team wants to go in.
This season, Lillard averaged 24.9 points, 7.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
