Bulls' Coby White Sees All-Star Potential in Patrick Williams
Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

"It's going to come. He's too talented, too big, and too strong not to be."

On the latest installment of the Bulls Talk Podcast, Coby White shared some high praise for Patrick Williams. Now Chicago Bulls teammates, both grew up playing basketball on the North Carolina AAU circuit.

When K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago asked White what he thinks Williams' ceiling is, the answer was highly optimistic. White said he believes Williams can make the NBA All-Star Game "multiple times."

"It's going to come, White continued. "He's too talented, too big, and too strong not to be."

When the Bulls selected Williams with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, it came as a bit of a surprise. Admittedly, I have never thought of Williams as highly as the front office and some sects of the fan base have. However, I have seen flashes of the talent that exists within him.

Patrick Williams is by far one of the Bulls' best three-point shooters, and he is often tasked with guarding premier forwards in the NBA. The 21-year-old forward has recently put together stretches of getting to the rim and finishing, which is an encouraging sign as he continues to develop.
