Bulls Injury Update: Ayo Dosunmu to Miss At Least 2 Games

The Chicago Bulls will be without Ayo Dosunmu for the foreseeable future. The third-year guard is dealing with an upper respiratory illness that will sideline him Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. Additionally, he won't travel with the Bulls when they face the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

It's a tough break for Dosunmu, who's trying to get back on track this season after a sophomore slump in 2022-23.

The Illinois product is averaging five points, 1.2 rebounds, and one assist in 11.2 minutes per game so far this season. Last time out, he matched his season-high of eight points and went 2-of-3 from three-point range against the Dallas Mavericks.

While Dosunmu recovers from his illness, the Bulls will look to right the ship during a back-to-back weekend slate. Chicago's first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament game is underway at the United Center, and a trip to Denver to face the defending champions awaits.
