The Chicago Bulls signed Kostas Antetokounmpo to a two-way contract, the team announced Friday.

Antetokoumpo, who signed a training camp deal with the Bulls in September, appeared in two of the team’s four preseason games this month. He averaged two points and 2.5 rebounds in 5.9 minutes in those contests.

Those numbers aren’t eye-catching — neither are the ones he’s put up in 22 career games with the Lakers and Mavericks.

But at 6-foot-10 and 200 pounds, the 24-year-old Kostas Antetokounmpo had the size and theoretical upside to pick up a two-way contract. The Bulls previously signed Malcolm Hill to a two-way pact.

To say nothing of his ties to a certain Milwaukee Buck who, himself, is open to the possibility of playing for the Chicago Bulls in the not-too-distant future.
