Bulls star Zach LaVine exits game vs. Warriors with left knee injury

Zach LaVine left Friday's game against the Warriors early in the first quarter with a left knee injury, and it was quickly announced that he would not return.

LaVine walked back into the tunnel after intentionally taking a foul to stop the game. It's unclear when he injured himself, but he appeared to land a bit awkwardly on an offensive rebound less than a minute before he exited the game.

He left the court on his own power, finishing with just one rebound and one turnover in four minutes with no shots attempted.

LaVine tore the ACL in his left knee in 2017 when he was a member of the Timberwolves. He was traded to the Bulls the following summer. He entered Friday averaging 25.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.
