LeBron James has been chasing GOAT status for years, and while a massive chunk of fans swear by him, the shadow of Michael Jordan still looms large. The debate refuses to die, and now, Caitlin Clark has stepped in to drop her own verdict.
Caitlin Clark, in a conversation on NBC’s Basketball Night, talked about her recent Photography stint, saying, “The pictures of the LeBron I took, did you guys see?” Responding to her, Maria Taylor said she had seen them since Clark posted them on her socials, to which Clark opined, “I got it printed out and got him to sign it for me…The King. That’s my GOAT.”
She further added, “I swear we made eye contact, so I set down the camera, and I smiled at him, and he just looked at me with a straight face. He didn’t even see me, but the photos turned out well.”

CC has been a big fan of James for years now, as ‘The King’ has been supporting her since her college playing days. A year ago, while speaking with TIME, Clark expressed how LeBron has been following her journey.
“LeBron never messaged me directly, but it has been cool to just see his support of me and the W overall. You can tell he really watches and turns it on. He has been a huge fan of mine from college and now in the WNBA.”
Even at that time, she referred to him, saying, “I mean, he’s the greatest basketball player of all time, so I think that’s pretty cool.”
That said, she also named another player whom she considers her favorite.
During the same conversation, the Indiana Pacers stars revealed that she considers Nikola Jokic as the best player in the world right now, “I think everybody knew he was going to do everything to get back. Honestly, he’s my favorite player to watch. I think he’s the best player in the world.”
Despite sitting out 16 games due to knee hyperextension and a bone bruise, the Joker returned with a massive impact. And, according to Clark, the consistency he has shown in averaging a triple-double is quite rare.
Well, one thing we should point out is that both of them are signed with Excel Sports Management. This means CC gets to have more conversations with the Joker and might even have some insider information about his plans.
Till will tell…but for now, tell us if you are team James, or Jordan?
