Cam Reddish 'Expressed Displeasure' To Knicks Assistant Coach Amid Trade Rumors
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Cam Reddish has been vocally upset with the lack of playing time he receives on the Knicks and has complained to assistant coaches.

Cam Reddish is one of the most exciting young prospects in the NBA and has been looked at like that since he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2019. However, Reddish's NBA career hasn't panned out the way many expected. He lost his spot in Atlanta and was traded to New York last season, where Reddish has struggled even more to break into the rotation.

Reddish has been on the trade market all season, as Knicks' coach Tom Thibodeau doesn't seem to be a fan of the player. New York may end up moving the former Duke star at this trade deadline, as Reddish is a likely free agent at the end of the season.

Cam's benching has also come with a new report that the 23-year-old has expressed his displeasure towards Coach Tom Thibodeau to assistant coaches,

There's no future for Reddish in New York and that's just the reality of it. The good thing is that many teams around the NBA want to acquire Cam and give him the chance he hasn't received so far.

Where Does Cam Reddish End Up?

If the price to add Reddish to your roster is second-round picks, many teams will be interested in that move. Two teams that could use Reddish's production are the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers are looking for cheap 3-and-D wings, and Reddish fits what they need to a T.

The Mavericks are thin at their wing position especially with Reggie Bullock not looking like the player we saw in the 2022 playoffs. Reddish would be a nice forward to develop alongside Josh Green. The passes Luka makes will guarantee open looks for Cam. If he can make them, he will be a star in Dallas.

Other interested teams have been the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.
