Carmelo Anthony spent 19 seasons in the NBA and was a 10-time All-Star. He led the league in scoring in 2013 and played for six franchises. Before his NBA career, he was an NCAA champion at Syracuse and earned the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player award as a freshman in 2003.

Now, at 40 years old, he is pursuing new ventures. Earlier this month, Anthony was appointed co-general manager of the Gold Squad boys basketball program at Oak Hill Academy.

Kiyan Anthony, his 18-year-old son, is wrapping up his high school basketball career and plans to follow in his father’s footsteps at Syracuse. In the meantime, the two are also collaborating on other ventures.

On Monday, Carmelo made an announcement alongside Kiyan about their latest project:

Carmelo and Kiyan appear to have done an extensive shoot with the "Justsmile" brand and will be featured in its sixth issue. The company promotes itself on its official website as “an independent cultural publication at the cross-section of fine art, fashion, ideas, self-expression and inclusivity. It is a collaborative space for creatives of all identities that uses luxury fashion as a tool for expressing ideas and dialogues.”

It certainly is not Carmelo's first endeavor outside of basketball. In 2021, he launched a production company named "Creative 7," and in 2023 he started a weekly podcast. Carmelo has also been very involved with charity work, dating back to the "Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center" in Baltimore in 2006.

Carmelo Anthony is 10th on the NBA's all-time career scoring list with 28,289 points. He averaged 22.5 points per game in the regular season. In 83 career playoff games, Anthony averaged 23.1 points per game.
