The Cavaliers are bringing back Luke Travers on a two-way contract, according to the NBA transactions log (via HoopsRumors’ Dana Gauruder).

Travers, 23, is 6-foot-8 and spent most of his rookie season with the Cleveland Charge of the G League, appearing in 12 games with the Cavaliers. He averaged 1.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists, showing signs of being a regular hustle player.

He appeared in 21 regular season games with the Charge, compiling averages of 17.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 34 minutes a night.

As Gauruder relayed, the Cavs tendered Travers a qualifying offer, and he accepted it to remain on a two-way contract. “The qualifying offer is equivalent to another one-year, two-way deal, with a portion (approximately $85K) guaranteed,” Gauruder wrote.

Travers joins big man Nae’Qwan Tomlin as the Cavs’ two two-way players, with an opening for another. The third slot was made available after Cleveland did not tender a qualifying offer to forward Emoni Bates.

In other news, the Cavs reportedly signed second-round pick Tyrese Proctor to a four-year partially guaranteed contract on Monday.
