Cavaliers guard Darius Garland will miss his second straight game Thursday against the visiting Raptors after re-injuring his left big toe earlier this week.

Garland’s status moving forward is to be determined, the Cavs announced Wednesday.

Along with Garland, second-year wing Jaylon Tyson (concussion protocol) will miss his second consecutive game on Thursday. Veteran point guard Lonzo Ball (injury management) is also out.

Meanwhile, All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, who rested for Wednesday’s big win in Miami, are not on the injury report for the Raptors, nor is forward Larry Nance Jr.

The Cavs (8-4) sit in first place in the Central Division despite all the injuries and missed games. They own the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, behind only the Pistons, winners of eight straight.

In fact, Detroit’s last loss was to the Cavs.
