Cavs’ Dean Wade to Return on Saturday vs. Bucks
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Cavaliers forward Dean Wade will return for Saturday’s home game vs. the Bucks, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Wade, 26, has not played since Dec. 2, when he reaggravated a shoulder injury. He’s been out with what’s officially been called an AC joint sprain since.

Wade, 26, is 6-foot-9 and has been a solid contributor, either as a starter or reserve, when healthy this season. In 17 games, he is averaging 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds, shooting 45 percent from the field and 41 percent on 3-pointers.

He has spent each of his three-plus NBA seasons in Cleveland after going undrafted out of Kansas State in 2019.

In his absence, the Cavs have had to rely more heavily on the likes of reserves Kevin Love, Lamar Stevens and Cedi Osman in the frontcourt.

The Cavs (28-19) are coming off a home loss to the Warriors.
