When Jarrett Allen was trying to throw down a one-handed dunk in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ loss to the Washington Wizards on Friday night, he was shoved in mid-air by Robin Lopez while airborne.

Lopez was seemingly aware of the fact that he fouled Allen despite the non-call, as Allen suggested in his postgame comments.

“I was talking to the Lopez brother and he said he did push me,” Allen said. “We had a good laugh about it. I don’t think it was dirty on his end, that was his only chance — to foul me. He told me about it.”

Shortly after the non-call, Cavs head coach J.B. Bickerstaff received a technical foul after persistently yelling towards the officials, as he was ultimately given a technical foul.

“Still furious,” a source told Chris Fedor of cleveland.com Saturday afternoon. “That was a dangerous and egregious missed call. The league understands our level of disappointment.”

“It isn’t good enough,” another source told Fedor. “They just disrespect us.”

According to the article, the Cavs have submitted video and reached out to the league office, asking for Bickerstaff’s technical foul to be rescinded.
