Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics have logged back-to-back wins since returning from the NBA All-Star break. Both victories have been on the road against the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brown looked great against the Lakers on Sunday. He went off for a game-high 32 points on 10-of-28 shooting, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three triples in 36 minutes. Thanks in large part to Brown’s strong play, the Celtics took down their bitter rivals on the road, 111-89.

Boston is back in action on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. The Celtics will look to make it three wins in a row, but they might need to do it without Brown.

Brown has not missed a game since Jan. 30. However, he is now in danger of sitting out Tuesday’s road matchup against the Suns.

The Celtics have released their official injury report for the game. Brown has been added to the report and is questionable to play with a right knee contusion.

It is unclear when Brown sustained his injury. He did not seem bothered by a knee issue as he dominated the Lakers on Sunday.

It is worth noting that Tuesday’s matchup in Phoenix is the first night of a back-to-back for Boston. They return to action on Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets. That will be the fourth and final game of the Celtics’ current four-game road trip.

At this point, it’s possible that Boston gives their superstar forward the night off against the 33-25 Suns.

The Celtics enter Tuesday’s game with a 37-19 record. As of writing, they are second in the Eastern Conference, 5.5 games behind the No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons.
