The NBA Playoffs have come down to their last four teams, and it will be without the defending champion Boston Celtics.
After a disappointing Game 6 that ended with a score of 119-81 in favor of the New York Knicks, the Celtics failed to repeat as NBA champions and will head into the offseason with a lot of questions that need to be answered.
Forward Jayson Tatum went down with a ruptured Achilles, while teammate Jaylen Brown was dealing with a partially torn meniscus since March.
General Manager Brad Stevens spoke with the press on Monday, and he spoke on the current state of the Celtics' roster and what will be expected moving forward.
He mentioned that although Jaylen Brown played through the knee injury, it seems as if he's at a good place with how it feels.
"Jaylen's a warrior. Jaylen takes great pride in being out there. And at the same time, he saw our team docs and a couple other people. And as he said a few weeks ago, the knee is in a good place," Stevens said on Monday.

Now, when it comes to Jayson Tatum, he expecting a long road of recovery moving forward from his Achilles injury.
"Super hard for Jayson more than anything... And I think even missing two games has been grueling for him. We know that there's a long road ahead," Bobby Krivitsky reported on X.

Boston is expected to look much different moving forward, with contract issues looming for several players and uncertainty surrounding the return of their franchise star. This sets up an offseason full of questions.
With a payroll that's well over the salary cap and the team exceeding the second apron, roster moves will have to take place to avoid future penalties.
It's been a sad fall-off for the Celtics in recent months, but with the right offseason moves, there is still some hope in Boston.
