The Celtics will have a new-look roster this year, thanks to a few roster moves. They have already traded Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, meaning that their starting lineup will look much different.

Jayson Tatum's torn Achilles means that he will miss most, if not all, of next season. That means that the Celtics will be replacing three starters from this year's team.

Payton Pritchard will be moving into the starting lineup as their point guard of the future. With Holiday out of the picture, Pritchard has a chance to put up bigger moves.

While speaking on NBC Sports Boston, Yahoo's Kevin O'Connor thinks that Pritchard will put up borderline All-Star stats next season. He believes that Pritchard's scoring will take on new heights next year.

Pritchard put up career numbers as a backup last season en route to a Sixth Man of the Year campaign. He showed that he has the ability to be a starter in the league.

How well he is able to play with the new starters around him might put a cap on the kind of numbers he's able to put up. Teams are also more equipped to defend him after he had such a great year.

On the flip side, Pritchard might be afforded the number two offensive option behind Jaylen Brown. That could allow him to be even more aggressive with his shot.

That could mean that Pritchard has a shot to average 20+ points with starter's minutes. Based on his production this past season, that is entirely plausible.

Boston is still not going to be good enough to compete for the title without Tatum, so this could be a year for both Brown and Pritchard to try to put up the best stats possible.

The Celtics are confident in Pritchard as a scorer. They would like to see him grow as a passer and a defender. Those two aspects are the final parts of his game that he needs to develop.

This past season, Pritchard averaged 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
