Celtics Have A New Big 3 Leading The Franchise

Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown combined for 75 points, 22 rebounds, and 20 assists in Boston’s major 127-102 Game 2 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night.

These three guys were positively dominant against the Heat and helped the Celtics surge right as fans were getting nervous.

Smart was out of the first game in the series and the team desperately missed him.

He made up for lost time with his return on Thursday night.

The Defensive Player of the Year put up 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 12 assists.

But he was surpassed by Tatum, who recorded 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Meanwhile, Brown was no slouch with his 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

These three players were everywhere on the court and set the tempo for their squad – especially Smart, who was playing with ferocity and focus and some serious enthusiasm too.

Thursday night’s game was very bad news for the Heat.

Not only did they lose in a huge way, but they also may have lost their defensive star P.J. Tucker, who suffered an injury early in the game and may have to sit out.

Perhaps most troubling is the fact that the series is now moving to Boston, meaning that Smart, Tatum, and Brown will be cheered on by their raucous, rowdy fanbase for the next two games.
