It's been an absolute nightmare of a start for the defending champion Boston Celtics.
After a first-round matchup where a hungry Orlando Magic team managed to steal just one game, the Celtics have now dropped both their home games against the New York Knicks in the second round.
With the series shifting to New York for Games 3 and 4, the Celtics are now in must-win mode as they look to mount a comeback.
A key factor that the Celtics have been dealing with is the health of Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis has been dealing with an illness that has kept him from playing effective minutes.
In Game 1, he failed to score any points in the 13 minutes he played and the Celtics dropped the game in a 108-105 overtime loss.
Game 2 comes around and Porzingis is still sick, only seeing 14 minutes and finished with eight points in the 91-90 loss.
Heading into Game 3, the Celtics are hoping that the 7-foot-2 big man can have a better workload in a group of games that can determine Boston's season.
With a sickness that has still lingered, Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla was able to provide the media with an update on Porzingis.
"It's an illness. What's impacted is his fatigue and his breathing," Mazzulla told the press on Friday.

It seems that Boston knows what their big man is dealing with at such a crucial time in the team's season.
With the Knicks and Celtics traveling to New York for the next few games, the teams have gotten the opportunity to have two days of rest before having to play in Game 3.
This time will be crucial for Porzingis and will give him time to rest and recover from whatever this sickness may be.
The Knicks and Celtics will play Game 3 on Saturday, May 10 in Madison Square Garden.
