With both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown sidelined with an injury, the Boston Celtics were still able to pull off a third-straight win.
On Tuesday night, Derrick White helped the Celtics pick up their second win over D'Angelo Russell and the Brooklyn Nets in four days, 104-96.
Coming into the game, White had recorded 225 3-pointers made during the 2024-25 NBA season. With 3:40 remaining in the first quarter against the Nets, White hit a 3-pointer off an Al Horford assist to give Boston a one-point lead. This marked his 226th 3-pointer of the season.
In doing so, White joins Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden as the only players in NBA history to reach over 225 3-pointers made, 50+ rebounds, 60+ steals and 60+ blocks in one season.
The Celtics made the official announcement on X.
"D-White does it ALL. He just joined James Harden as the only players in NBA history to hit all these numbers in a season: 225+ three pointers, 50+ offensive rebounds, 60+ steals, 60+ blocks."

In the Celtics' 50th win of the season, White finished with 18 points on 6-of-19 shooting and 3-of-11 from distance, zero offensive rebounds, zero steals and a block. His season totals after the game are now 228 3-pointers made, 56 offensive rebounds, 61 steals and 69 blocks.
Harden was able to accomplish this feat during the 2019-20 NBA season when he was playing with the Houston Rockets. That year, he recorded 299 3-pointers made, 70 offensive rebounds, 125 steals and 60 blocks.
With the win, White and the Celtics jump to 50-19 on the season and are on a path to clinch the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. They will get the Utah Jazz on Friday.
