In addition to Williams, the Celtics could also be missing Al Horford on Monday due to personal reasons. That would leave head coach Ime Udoka's group without two members of their starting frontcourt.
Williams is currently having the best season of his four-year NBA career, averaging career-highs in points (9.9), rebounds (9.6), blocks (2.2), assists (2.0) and minutes per game (29.7), while also shooting a career-best 73.4% from the field and 71.9% from the free throw line. His 2.2 blocks per contest rank second in the NBA -- only behind Jaren Jackson Jr. (2.3) -- while he ranks first in the league in offensive rating (146.8) and defensive rating 102.0 and third in defensive win shares (3.8).
The Texas A&M product's 9.6 rebounds per game and 73.4% field goal percentage lead all Boston players this season.
