The Phoenix Suns are becoming a bit of a destination team for star players. While their current 19-19 record through 38 games is underwhelming, they pose a great opportunity for star players to come in and know the club is going to exhaust all options to build a contender.

Mat Ishiba, the club's owner, recently came in and proved he is willing to spend whatever to ensure the team is well-positioned to win a title.

With Kevin Durant on the roster, Ishiba made a high-risk move to secure an older superstar alongside Devin Booker to try and make such happen.

The Suns might not have the postseason success they'd like as of late, but having a future Hall of Fame player and all-time great like Durant on the roster is an honor, even if the results aren't quite what is expected.

Evidently, the Texas product and long-time superstar is one of the best of his generation, and he represents the Suns while chasing a third career championship.

Durant his highly regarded to a point where ex-NBA player Chandler Parsons recently delivered a scorching hot take regarding the superstar forward.

When talking about all-time NBA rankings on "Run it Back," Parsons claimed he'd put Durant over Kobe Bryant on his rankings.

"I would rank Kevin Durant above Kobe," Parsons said.

This is controversial for a couple of reasons. First, this is completely subjective. Different people hold different weight as to what puts one player over another.

Bryant is a true legend in the league after spending his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, a true iconic franchise in the NBA.

Accolades-wise, Bryant holds the edge. From a skill standpoint, Durant holds the edge. In entirely different situations, one player can be better than the other all-time, depending on where the goalposts are set.
