The Los Angeles Lakers remain a punchline for many in the NBA, and that includes Charles Barkley.
Barkley was part of Turner’s alternate broadcast of Sunday’s All-Star Game, in which he and the “Inside the NBA” crew provided running commentary on the game. At one point, Barkley spotted Lakers GM Rob Pelinka, and promptly roasted him for how the team’s roster was constructed.

“Is that Rob Pelinka? I haven’t seen him since he put that Laker team together, been missing in action,” Barkley said. “He put a bunch of old-a– geezers together that would have been great in 2010.”
Pelinka has been taking fire from a lot of directions lately. His star player’s camp is apparently unhappy with him, and the team itself is struggling on the court. He’ll be hearing plenty of jokes like this as long as it keeps up, so he may as well get used to it.
