Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler was forced to exit the Dubs' Wednesday night loss against the Houston Rockets after suffering a "pelvis contusion" with about 2:30 remaining in the first quarter.
Butler, who stuffed the box score in the Warriors' Game 1 win with 25 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals, was only able to put up three points in the Game 2 loss in Houston.
That's because after recording just eight minutes, Butler was undercut by Rockets forward Amen Thompson while he was going up for a rebound.
Butler, who was traded from the Miami Heat in February, landed hard on the floor, putting an end to his night.

After the injury to the six-time NBA All-Star, fans were quick to place blame on the Rockets forward, with many calling for him to be suspended for Game 3.
However, following the Rockets' series-tying 109-94 win, Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and the rest of the "Inside the NBA" crew broke down the game on TNT.
And Barkley is taking a stand against fans who are calling out Thompson, agreeing with Johnson that it was clearly unintentional.
"I don't think you can find any fault with anybody on this," Johnson said. "This was Johnson, who took a shove, really, and he wound up taking the legs out of Jimmy Butler."
Barkley quickly agreed:
"That was clearly just an accident," Barkley said.
Plenty of fans on the internet, though, have a different view of the play:
"Amén Thompson should be suspended," wrote one fan.
"Amen Thompson is one of the dirtiest players ever," added another.
"The more times I watch the Amen Thompson undercut of Jimmy Butler the more I see it as a dirty play. He loses his balance a bit but extends both arms into Jimmy's legs and sends him spinning into the air. Should've been a Flagrant 1 at least," said a fan.
