The Chicago Bulls rebuild is finally in full swing as the Zach LaVine era has come to an end. After months of speculation and links with a variety of teams including the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and more, we now know the 29-year-old's next destination.

LaVine will soon be seen in a Sacramento Kings jersey. He was part of the trade package that has seen De'Aaron Fox join the San Antonio Spurs.

According to Shams Charania, the Spurs will receive Fox and Jordan McLaughlin. The Kings will get LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first-round picks (2025 CHA, 2027 SAS, 2031 MIN) and three second-round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 own back). And finally, the Bulls will receive Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and their own 2025 pick via SAS.

Considering the return that the Dallas Mavericks got from Luka Doncic's trade to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Kings must be commended for sure.

The Bulls finally have LaVine's massive contract, $215 million over five years, off their books. That is something that they needed to do if their rebuild was to have any chance of succeeding.

On the other hand, LaVine has simply been in breathtaking form this season and is playing the best basketball of his career at the moment.

He is putting up averages of 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game this season. His strong productivity and outstanding shooting efficiency highlight his ability to enhance any team's offensive firepower.

LaVine's impactful performances this season had caught the attention of many teams. Let's see what he does in a Kings jersey.
