The Chicago Bulls have set their roster for Summer League, with some familiar faces and new names too.
Matas Buzelis is the headline name on the Chicago Bulls roster for the upcoming NBA Summer League.
The impressive 2024 Draft selection enjoyed a strong rookie season for the Bulls, and teammate Ayo Dosunmu claims he has Giannis-like potential.
The Bulls want him to get more reps ahead of his sophomore season, where he will be playing alongside some new teammates.
These include the Bulls’ 2025 first round Draft selection Noa Essengue.
The Chicago Bulls have signed Yuki Kawamura to the roster, following his previous spell with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kawamura, a Japan international, is notable for being the shortest player in the NBA, at just 5ft 8″ in height.
He stands taller than the shortest NBA player ever, 5ft 3″ Muggsy Bogues.
Kawamura made his NBA debut in October 2024 when he became the league’s shortest active player.
He went on to play 22 games for the Memphis Grizzlies, which included 28 minutes in their final game of the season, when he posted 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Kawamura spent much of his season playing for the Grizzlies’ G League outfit the Memphis Hustle, and represented the G League at All-Star Weekend.
He will now be playing alongside 6ft 10″ Buzelis over the coming weeks.
A more controversial addition is former Los Angeles Clippers first round pick Josh Primo, who was suspended by the league in 2023 for off-court reasons.
