The Los Angeles Clippers reunited with Chris Paul ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

While Chris Paul is no longer in the prime of his NBA career, LA Clippers fans are still excited over his return ahead of the new season.

With the Clippers yet to begin their preseason, fans will have to wait before getting to see CP3 in the team’s jersey on the hardwood.

However, Paul has already started training with his new teammates since the commencement of NBA Training Camp.

Chris Paul drops huge praise on Brook Lopez

Paul isn’t the only addition that the Clippers have made this offseason. They have added several free agents, including Brook Lopez.

This will be the first time since 2018 that Lopez will wear a jersey other than that of the Milwaukee Bucks. Speaking of Lopez, the veteran center has seemingly left an amazing impression on Paul during training.

“I’m playing with a brand new group of guys. Everybody. Brook Lopez. He’s been in the league now 18 years.

“Competed against him for a long time and now to get a chance to play alongside him has been pretty dope,” Paul told Clippers reporter Justin Russo.

While Lopez had a terrific tenure with the Bucks, having Paul by his side could help him become an even better player. After all, Paul’s playmaking abilities are still among the best in the league.

What to expect from Chris Paul during second stint with LA Clippers

Last time when Paul played for the Clippers, he was still in the prime of his career and was the floor general of the team.

While Clippers stars still respect Paul’s abilities, it wouldn’t be a surprise if fans see a different version of the 12x NBA All-Star on the team.

In fact, former NBA player Matt Barnes urged Paul to improve his communication during his second stint with the Clippers.

Being a former member of the ‘Lob City’ Clippers, Barnes played alongside CP3 in LA. It will be interesting to see if the 40-year-old can implement this request on the court.
