Chris Paul “wants to be a starter” next season, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
Paul could sign with the Los Angeles Clippers or Phoenix Suns.

Paul, who played for the San Antonio Spurs last season, is an unrestricted free agent. He’s not expected to re-sign with the Spurs.
Paul appeared in all 82 games for the Spurs last season. He averaged 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists while shooting 42.7% from the field, 37.7% from beyond the arc and 92.4% from the free-throw line.
A 12-time All-Star, Paul has played for the New Orleans Hornets, Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Suns, Golden State Warriors and Spurs. He’s one of the best point guards in NBA history.
A top 75 player of all time, Paul has career averages of 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 9.2 assists.
