In 17 regular season games, he has averaged 12.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 56.5% from the field and 45.1% from the three-point range.
On Sunday afternoon, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced that they are signing Smith to a ten-day deal.

Smith played his college basketball for Texas Tech and was the 16th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
He spent two seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers and has career averages of 3.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 37.8% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point range 13 games.
The 24-year-old has also played in two NBA playoff games.
