Clippers All-Star Paul George misses Wizards game with dizziness

Per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, the Los Angeles Clippers ruled All-Star guard Paul George out just before Thursday's first-half-of-the-season finale at the Washington Wizards because of dizziness.

George participated in warmups but reported dizziness before tipoff and was removed from the lineup. Fellow guard Reggie Jackson took George's place.

Superstar Kawhi Leonard missed Tuesday's loss at the Boston Celtics because of back spasms but returned to the rotation for Thursday's matchup. Both Leonard and George are scheduled to participate in Sunday's All-Star festivities. While Leonard appears on track to play in Atlanta, George's status may not be determined until some point this weekend.

According to ESPN stats, George leads the Clippers with 5.4 assists per game and is second with 23.7 points and a player efficiency rating of 22.85. He's also contributing 6.1 rebounds per contest.

If George can't travel to Atlanta or sits the All-Star Game out, he could rest until next Thursday's showdown with the Golden State Warriors.
