Clippers, Heat, Jazz Agree To Trade Featuring Norman Powell, John Collins, Kevin Love

According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Utah Jazz have agreed to a trade

The Clippers are getting John Collins, the Heat are getting Norman Powell and the Jazz are getting Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson and a 2027 Clippers second-round pick.

Powell will make $20,482,758 next season in the final year of his contract. He averaged 21.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the Clippers last season while shooting 48.4% from the field, 41.8% from beyond the arc and 80.4% from the free-throw line. 

Collins picked up his player option for next season worth $26,580,000. He averaged 19.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Jazz last season while shooting 52.7% overall, 39.9% from 3 and 84.8% from the foul line. 

Love will make $4,150,000 next season in the final year of his contract. The NBA champion averaged 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists for the Heat last season while shooting 35.7% from the field, 35.8% from beyond the arc and 69.6% from the free-throw line. 

Anderson will make $9,219,512 next season. He played for the Golden State Warriors and Heat last season, averaging 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 46.9% from the field, 35.7% from 3 and 73.8% from the free-throw line. 

The Jazz missed the playoffs last season, the Clippers lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round in seven games and the Heat lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round in four games. 

Love is not expected to remain with the Jazz. He will likely get bought out.
