The Los Angeles Clippers have had their hand in one of the bigger trades so far this offseason, trading Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick. They’re now looking to make moves along the margins, as they brought back one of their reserve players from last season, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

“Restricted free agent guard Jordan Miller has pinged back to the Los Angeles Clippers on a new three-year, $15.3 million deal, sources tell ESPN. Miller served his way last season with 10 points per game on 53% from the field, and rallied to score double digits in 20 of his final 26 games last season. Clippers officials came to set and point Friday morning with Jason Glushon of [GlushonSM],” Charania wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

With the Clippers going young but still staying competitive, Miller could see a lot of playing time next season, especially after what he did to end last season.

The Clippers have a group of solid guards for the future, which includes Darius Garland, Keaton Wagler and Miller. They also agreed to a contract to bring back Kobe Sanders, as he played in 68 games last season, averaging 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

They could still add some depth as the offseason continues, but that’s a good start for a team that made major changes throughout last season into this offseason.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Clippers fare against the rest of the Western Conference next season and if they can reach the playoffs again. They have the talent to do so, but the West continues to get better every season when looking at the playing field.
