One day after reports surfaced that New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson exited the NBA bubble site of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando for a family matter, The Athletic's Shams Charania tweeted that Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell left because of a family emergency:
Montrezl Harrell plans to return to the NBA restart at a later date, sources said. He left Disney campus to tend to an urgent family situation. https://t.co/IYOx5ZIDZi

As Bleacher Report's Blake Schuster wrote, the 26-year-old will be asked to quarantine for at least four days upon his return to the bubble. Harrell will also have to provide multiple negative coronavirus test results before he can rejoin teammates.
Before the NBA halted play on March 11 due to the pandemic, Harrell averaged career highs in scoring (18.6 PPG) and rebounding (7.1) across 63 appearances.
The Clippers begin the resumption versus crosstown rivals the Los Angeles Lakers on July 30. Harrell's status for that game is currently unknown.
