Clippers to waive Jamarion Sharp, open two-way spot

The Clippers intend to waive center Jamarion Sharp and enter training camp with one of their three two-way contract slots open, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report and The Stein Line.

Sharp, 25, signed with Los Angeles in August after playing for the Raptors at summer league. The 7-foot-5 center averaged 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in five appearances.

He went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2024 and spent most of the past two seasons with the G League’s Texas Legends. Sharp was named G League Defensive Player of the Year last season after leading the league with 3.9 blocks per game.

He also led the NCAA in blocked shots during consecutive seasons at Western Kentucky.

The Clippers are not currently pursuing a replacement, Fischer reported. Jalen Pickett and 2026 second-round pick Nick Martinelli hold the team’s other two-way contracts.

If Sharp clears waivers this weekend, he will become an unrestricted free agent Sunday.
