This week has been a busy one in the world of Pitt, Duquesne, and Robert Morris basketball, especially on the recruiting front.

PITT

Pitt’s staff was out recruiting last weekend, then spent the first few days of the week in Las Vegas catching up with the Panthers who are playing in the NBA Summer League. While there haven’t been any new offers reported for Pitt, one visit popped up on the calendar this week.

Davion Hannah, 6-foot-6 wing, will visit Pitt starting on Oct. 19..Hannah is a four-star prospect out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who is ranked as the No. 34 overall player in 2025 according to 247 Sports. Hannah previously played his high-school ball for Nicolet, where he was the top player in Wisconsin. However, this summer, he transferred to Link Academy. He received an offer from Pitt earlier this spring, and now has a visit lined up to meet the coaching staff and see the facilities in the Steel City. More on Hannah here.

According to Adam Zagoria, Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo Anthony, is nearing a recruitment update. Pitt offered Anthony last June, shortly after coaches were allowed to contact 2025 recruits. Anthony is a 6-foot-4 guard ranked in the top-35 in the nation. In his interview with Zagoria, he mentioned five schools, but did not bring up Pitt. Keep an eye on Anthony to see if he includes the Panthers in his final schools list.

DUQUESNE

The Dukes’ staff offered Dezmon Briscoe earlier this week, and shortly after, Briscoe included the Dukes in his top schools list. He joined The Pittsburgh Basketball Showon this episode to break down his relationship with Duquesne’s staff, including Dru Joyce III.
