The Dallas Mavericks are set to fire general manager Nico Harrison at a meeting on Tuesday, per NBA insider Shams Charania.
The move comes just nine months after Harrison was involved in making a shocking trade that sent Luka Doncic to the L.A. Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis.

The Mavericks have struggled on both ends of the floor this season, currently holding a 3-8 overall record, but Harrison’s job has been in jeopardy since February.
Over the last several months, Harrison’s relationship with ownership reportedly disintegrated. Team owner Patrick Dumont reportedly took accountability for the trade while speaking to a courtside fan on Monday.
Regardless of who gave the move the green light, the Mavericks clearly felt that Harrison’s time as GM needed to end.
